Multimodal Transport
Multimodal transport, i.e. transportation by combined mode of transport, primarily refers to the container transport in 20-foot and 40-foot containers. Nevertheless, non-containerized load can also be transported by several modes of transport. These freights include special equipment, large size and Out of Gauge Loads, general freight, raw materials and etc., both by Rail freight and road transport.
Multimodal transportation allows for arrangement of a perfect ‘from door to door’ freight delivery scheme, optimization of a route and a service price, including customs clearance of goods.

Freight Consolidation
Delivery of consolidated freight in international traffic is the long-term specialization of “PSA Logisticsˮ. We carry out transportation of consolidated freight from any country of the world to CIS countries, mainly to the countries of the Central Asian region. We accept any types of loads as Consolidated Cargo Loads, both temperature sensitive and non-sensitive freight, from 0.1 m2 to 80 m2, from 1 kg to 20 tons, when the order of a separate truck or container is just unprofitable.

Warehouses are located in a strategically convenient location close to the Vilnius Western Bypass and easily accessible from all major roads. There is a railway branch line in the territory of the company, which allows provision of services for multimodal freight transport. The activity of “PSA Logisticsˮ is always insured in the amount of EUR 500,000 per insured event. The insurance coverage is applicable in all occasions, whether the activity of the direct carrier has been insured or not. If the amount of load under transportation is over EUR 500,000, we will insure your freight with an extra insurance.
